‘Nom de Dieu...’ Silk and Linen Rude Scarf
The front of the ‘Nom de Dieu...’ hand embroidered rude scarf is Wedgwood blue 50% silk 50% linen , woven by Johnstons of Elgin, and hand embroidered with a dove grey 100% silk thread, from the Scottish Borders, in satin stitch. Its back is also Wedgwood blue 50% silk 50% linen, woven by Johnstons of Elgin.
Each Si Je Veux item is a unique one-of-a-kind piece, hand embroidered and entirely handmade in Richmond upon Thames, England, with great British materials.
Hand embroidered with this long continuous phrase:
“Nom de Dieu de Putain de Bordel de Merde
de Saloperie de Connard d’Enculé de ta Mère”.
Just under 2m in length, this scarf is not for the faint of heart. This profound profusion of profanity is made entirely with satin stitch, requiring four weeks of intensive and very precise hand embroidery. Discreet yet exuberant of expression, a voluptuous dove grey silk lettering whispers very naughty things. Inspired by the swirling ironwork of Kew Gardens, and the cloud washed blue skies above.
The ‘Nom de Dieu...’ rude scarf is presented in a hand crafted Si Je Veux storage box and carefully wrapped to ensure its safety during delivery.
